This partnership will further boost the relationship between Globe Telecom and IX Telecom, Cyberjaya’s fastest growing VNO.

“This is also part of our aim to elevate our positioning up the value-chain in exploring other business ventures among telecommunication players in this region,” said IX Telecom chief executive officer Noor Mohd Helmi Nong Hadzmi.

“IX Telecom’s presence in Cyberjaya, will truly elevate the city towards excelling in our vision to be a Global Technology Hub to drive economic prosperity and to build a thriving ecosystem through the development of hard and soft infrastructure,” said Faris Yahaya, managing director of Cyberview Sdn Bhd, the entity spearheading Cyberjaya’s development.
The agreement was signed by Noor Helmi, on behalf of IX Telecom, and Charmaine Pamintuan, Globe Business Enterprise Group vice-president for marketing, on behalf of Globe Telecom.
On hand to witness the signing was International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Sri Mustapha Mohammed and Globe Business director of data and managed connectivity portfolio Alex Salud.

The partnership was forged during the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation’s specialised marketing mission in conjunction with the trade and investment mission to Manila, Philippines in May.
