Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Junior Telco Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with domestic customers in the telecommunications industry. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about sales and customer service, with a knack for communication and the ability to converse fluently in Mandarin to cater to Chinese customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned domestic customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers to drive retention and loyalty. - Sales and Business Development:
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell telco products and services to existing customers.
Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals. - Customer Support:
Understand and address customer inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues related to service delivery, billing, or technical support. - Communication and Reporting:
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to customers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account progress in CRM systems. - Market Knowledge:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide customers with relevant information and advice.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field. - Experience:
1-2 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer service (preferably in the telecommunications industry). Fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply. - Language Skills:
Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading) will be advantage, in addition to English and Malay. - Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of telco products and services (training will be provided). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills.
- High level of adaptability and eagerness to learn.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
- Team player with a collaborative approach.
