As a Senior Sales Account Manager, you’ll manage domestic wholesale business – local
carriers, ISPs, and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management & Solutioning

  • Act as the trusted advisor and single point of contact for assigned telco/enterprise
    clients.
  • Develop comprehensive account strategies and solution plans that align IX Telecom’s
    services with client needs.
  • Lead customer-facing engagements to diagnose issues, propose outcomes, and align
    commercial strategy with client goals.
  • Build a long-term business roadmap for each strategic account.

Data-Driven Sales Execution

  • Leverage CRM insights and sales data to drive decision-making, forecasting, and
    pipeline prioritisation.
  • Translate usage trends, opportunity gaps, and historical data into strategic actions and
    cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain high data hygiene in CRM and ensure pipeline health exceeds a 3x coverage
    ratio.

Revenue Ownership

  • Own and achieve quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets.
  • Lead all commercial activities, including proposal generation, pricing strategy,
    negotiations, and renewals.

Customer Engagement & Leadership

  • Cultivate relationships across decision-making levels – operational to executive.
  • Conducted quarterly business Reviews (QBRs), executive updates, and strategic
    roadmap sessions.
  • Demonstrate excellent attitude, professionalism, and customer awareness at every
    interaction.

Internal Collaboration

  • Align with pre-sales, delivery, marketing, and finance to ensure a cohesive customer
    experience.
  • Provide feedback on customer trends to guide solution development and portfolio
    enhancement.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Business, or a related field. An MBA is an
    advantage.
  • 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in the
    telecom/tech sector.
  • Experience in a Malaysian domestic carrier wholesale landscape is a must.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic enterprise accounts and meeting sales
    quotas.
  • Strong understanding of telco products, connectivity, cloud services, and managed
    solutions.
  • Highly analytical, confident in using CRM data for business decisions.
  • Excellent solution-selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken & written).
  • Professional demeanour, strong business ethics, and deep customer empathy
  • Willing to travel and attend high-level meetings as needed.
